Diamond Carat Weights and Tolerance Range

The total carat weight is a significant metric that represents the combined weight of all diamonds present in a piece of jewelry. This value is calculated by summing up the minimum and maximum weights of the various diamond sizes included in the piece, giving buyers an idea of the overall size and value of the diamonds used.

At Oak and Luna, we guarantee minimal deviations within the acceptable tolerance range for the total carat weight (ctw) of our jewelry. This carat weight represents the combined weight of all diamonds in a piece. Due to the unique nature of each diamond, slight variations in total carat weight (ctw) may exist between pieces. The tolerance accounts for the minimum and maximum total carat weights (ctw) allowed for the final jewelry piece.
